Placing an order with us is safe, straightforward and simple. Here's how it works:

How to Order

Ordering is easy and you can do it in four different ways:
  • Online via our secure website;
  • By telephone;
  • By fax;
  • By post.
We accept Visa, MasterCard & American Express credit cards and Visa Delta, Switch and Solo debit cards. Please note that cheques must clear before orders can be shipped and should be denominated in Pounds Sterling, drawn on a UK bank and made payable to 'Ability Answers'. Security & Credit Card Safety

Your safety is guaranteed because Gadgitz.com uses the latest security measures to protect your details when you shop with us. We use ecBuilder Software to encrypt your credit/debit card information when you place an order on our secure server, which means that only we are able to decrypt the information in order to process your transaction. After you click on the "Order Now" button, secure pages are indicated by:
  • the web address changing from "http://" to "https://"; and
  • a "padlock" symbol (or key) in the bottom right-hand status bar of your web browser.
In the unlikely event of unauthorized use of your credit or debit card for a purchase at Gadgitz.com, most banks and card issuers either cover all the charges or may limit your liability to just £50.00.

Dispatch & Delivery

Most orders placed before 3:00pm (Monday-Friday) are dispatched within 48 hours, subject to stock availability and any security checks, via Royal Mail Recorded or our couriers.

Orders placed after 3.00pm during the week or at weekends are processed the following working day.

Please note: Pre-orders for products not currently in stock will ship as soon as stock is available.

Please also note that during times of peak seasonal demand (for example Valentine's Day, Father's Day, but especially at Christmas) there may be a slight delay in the dispatch of your order, so please check our homepage for details and allow extra time for delivery.

Please allow a couple of extra days delivery time for orders to Scottish Highlands & Islands or Northern Ireland. Estimated Delivery Times
UK deliveries = Usually 5-7 working days Via Courier or Royal Mail
Europe = Usually 10-14 working days - Via Courier or Airmail
Worldwide = up to 21 working days - Air Mail
NB: Delivery times are approximate and may change without notice. We reserve the right to increase delivery charges as necessary, however we will inform you of such changes and offer you the option to cancel your order without charge.

Lost/Delayed Items

Please note, that our delivery times above are estimates and most deliveries are made within the above timescales.
Unfortunately, items can get lost or delayed whilst in the care of the postal system. This is out of our control, however any delayed items generally show up within a few days.
UK Deliveries: If your item is delayed in the postal system, we cannot investigate the non arrival until 15 working days from the date of despatch have elapsed. From this point, any delayed items are officially classed as lost.
Non-UK deliveries: If your item is delayed in the postal system, we cannot investigate the non arrival until 25 working days from the date of despatch have elapsed. From this point, any delayed items are officially classed as lost.

Items damaged in transit

In the event that you receive an item that has been damaged whilst in transit, you need to notify us in writing (email, fax, etc) immediately.
Where possible, examine the goods at the time of delivery and sign for the parcel as 'DAMAGED'. You must then notify us in writing within 7 days of delivery.If you are unable to check the items at the time of delivery you must inspect the goods and notify us of any damages in writing within 24 hours of delivery.
Please keep any damaged packaging for inspection by us/the courier.
Failure to do the above will invalidate any claim for damages.

Undeliverable Items

If an item sent by us is undeliverable (e.g. no one is in to sign for the item) a 'While you were out' card will be left by Royal Mail or Initial CityLink.
In the case of a Royal Mail card, you will have up to one week to arrange re-delivery or collection. After this, the item will be returned to us free of charge but will incur a 5% of order total handling fee, plus redelivery fees chargeable to you.
In the case of a Citylink card, your item will be kept at your nearest depot for five days for you to arrange re-delivery or collection. After this, the item will be returned to us and will incur a return fee (minimum £5, maximum £25, based on weight), a handling fee of 5% of order total, plus redelivery fees chargeable to you.

Overseas Orders

When you pay with a credit card you will be charged in Pounds Sterling and your credit card will be debited in your own currency. The actual exchange rate used for the transaction (and thus the final amount in your local currency) will be determined by your credit card company. (Please also note that if you place a pre-order with us the exchange rate may vary significantly from the time you place the order to the time when we charge the transaction to your credit card.)

Postage Costs are calculated by us and we will contact you to advise you of the charge.

All orders delivered to international addresses are usually delivered using Airmail. You can expect to receive your items within 3-14 working days after you have placed your order, depending on which country you are ordering from.
